Purpose of this Policy:

The purpose of this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is to explain how Hunter Search Partners (HSP) safeguards the privacy of those who use this website and provide HSP with personal information, either through the website or in other ways. 

HSP respects your right to privacy and is committed to protecting the privacy of users of this www.huntersearch.ie website (“HSP Website”), and complying with our obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR).

By visiting this HSP Website, you are accepting the terms of this Policy. Any external links to other websites are clearly identifiable as such and we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those other websites. When we link to another website it does not constitute an endorsement of that website by HSP.

In accordance with GDPR, we have implemented this Policy to inform you of the types of data we process about you. We also include within this Policy the reasons for processing your data, the lawful basis that permits us to process it, how long we keep your data for and your rights regarding your data.

Data Protection Principles:

Under GDPR, all personal data obtained and held by us must be processed according to a set of core principles. In accordance with these principles, we will ensure that:

c)  Data collected is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary to enable HSP to carry out it’s executive search and recruitment business;

d)  Data is kept accurate and up to date. Data which is found to be inaccurate will be rectified or erased without delay;

e)  Data is not kept for longer than is necessary for its given purpose;

f)  Data is processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of personal data including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage by using appropriate technical or organisational measures;

g)  We comply with the relevant GDPR procedures for international transferring of personal data.

Information Collected:

Clients and Suppliers:

We only collect your Client Contact and Supplier Contact information in order to serve the business relationship. We will only ever source personal data that is necessary and in a way that would be generally accepted and expected.

We may receive personal data about Client Contacts and Supplier Contacts from a variety of sources, as follows:

(a) Provided by the Client Contact or Supplier Contact, or created by HSP as part of the business relationship;

(b) Collected indirectly from another person within the Client or Supplier business;

(c) Collected from public sources;

(d) Collected indirectly from a website or from a third party.

We may combine information collected from public sources and/or websites and/or third parties with the information you or other members of your organisation provide directly to us.

We will not share any information collected about Client Contacts or Supplier Contacts with any third parties without your permission.

Candidates:

We will only use personal information about you to assist and advise you in your search for job opportunities and/or as part of a recruitment process.

By emailing/texting HSP directly, we may collect the following kinds of personal information, which we may then store and use to communicate with you via email and telephone:

(a) Your Name;

(b) Your Email Address;

(c) Your Telephone number.

You may then provide several pieces of data to us during the recruitment process whether online or in person. In the course of our normal business, we will, where you have readily given consent, collect data about you from third parties such as former employers etc. when gathering references.

We may also collect information about you where it is available from public sources. For example, if you have a professional profile online, we may combine that type of information with the information you provide directly to us, or in the case of Clients and Suppliers what your organisation has provided us.

We will not share any information we collect with any third parties without your permission.

Disclosure:

The personal information HSP obtains will be disclosed only to us, insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes as set out in this Policy.

In addition, HSP may disclose your personal information:

(a) to the extent that we are required to do so by law;

(b) to the extent required should we consider an employee of HSP at risk of harm from yourself or someone else;

(c) in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

Security of your personal information:

HSP will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.

Your rights:

(a) You may ask HSP to provide you with any personal information HSP holds about you. Provision of such information will be subject to the supply of appropriate evidence of your identity (for this purpose, HSP will usually accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a solicitor or bank, plus an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address).  HSP may withhold such personal information to the extent permitted by law.

(b) You have the ‘right to be forgotten’ and ask that HSP destroy all personal data we hold on you, subject to HSP’s obligations to retain such data for a set period of time as required by Revenue (6 years).

(a)   Please let us know if the personal information, which HSP holds about you, needs to be corrected or updated.
